Power House Youth Ministry
Power House is the Youth Ministry of Maranatha Church. Scott and Kelly Niemeier have been the youth ministers since 1995 and are still pressing forward to reach the young people of this area. Young people ages 13-23 come together to worship God every week in an action-packed service geared just for them. During these services they have the opportunity to get face-to-face with God in a heart-felt and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Power House Youth Ministry opens their doors every Wednesday night at 6:30pm. We have an awesome two-story, state-of-the-art facility for the young people to come and have fun as well as praise God. Downstairs is the game room and snack bar. We have many exciting games including: pool tables, ping-pong, foosball, several PlayStations and arcade games. You can also enjoy our snack bar before and after each service. Upstairs is where it all happens! Every service starts out with praise and worship with our live band. Skits, music videos, games, door prizes, offering, and announcements are just a few things that also go on. Then, Scott brings the uncompromising Word of God. We have seen hundreds of young people receive salvation, healing, deliverance and a deeper walk with God.
There are numerous youth activities every year with the highlight being our annual summer camp in Wimberley, Texas. During this week our remarkable group of young people has an encounter with God. They come back fired-up and totally turned on. Their experience has a lasting effect on their lives and we always enjoy its fruit. Also during the year we attend Spring and Fall retreats. By doing this, the young people are always on the move with God. These events also help maintain a close bond between the youth, staff and ministers.
It's very exciting to see how God has blessed our youth ministry tremendously over the years. The young people at Power House Youth Ministry are not ordinary; they are extraordinary because they have the POWER!
If you are a young person ages 13 to 23, we want to extend an invitation for you to come and experience Power House. We meet every Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Your life will never be the same!
